Rc.No.13 norms of National Education Day and children's day celebrations in A.P schools

 The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state, the Project
 Officers, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan in the State is invited to subject cited and they are informed that MHRD has declared

1. 11th November , the Birth Anniversary of Mulana Abdul Kalam Azad , 1st Education Minister of GOI as the National Education Day 
2. and 14th November ,the birth day cf Pandit Jawahar Lai Nehru, 1st Prime Minister of GOI as children's day. 

 In this regard, all the District Educational Officers and P.Qs of SSA are
requested to organize
the National Education Day on 11th November and Children's day on 14th November 2014
 to celebrate the birth day of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and Pandit Jawahar Lai Nehru respectively in a befitting manner.
The said dates should be observed at District Level, Complex level, Mandal
Level and School Level through conducting various programmes and
competitions in the schools.

ANNEXURE - I

The National Education Day on 11th November, 2014 Children's Day on
14 November, 2014 shall organize in all Govt, schools of Telugu, English and Urdu
Medium, MEH schools and KGBVs in the state the competitions shall organize at
Primary and High schools levels the competitions are:
1. Elocution Competitions
2. Essay Writing Competitions
3. Painting Competitions etc.,

The expenditure mav be met from available institutional giants and dates as
shown is schedule:

1. PS, UPS, High schools & KGBVs  - Organizing Date 05-1 1-2014 --Prizes to be given in I,II,III in each competition --  Amount to be used Rs.300.00
2. Complex level --  Organizing Date 07-11 -2014 --  Prizes to be given in I,II in each competition --  Amount to be used Rs,500.00
3.  Manclal level -- Organizing Date 10-11 -2014 --  Prizes to be given in I,II in each competition --  Amount to be used Rs,1000.00
4.  District Level -- Organizing Date 13-11 -2014 --  Prizes to be given in I,II in each competition --  Amount to be used Rs,3000.00  

And send compliance report to State Project Office after the completion of
district level prizes distribution.
